This concept was all about exploring the idea of the city itself being a stage. A real lighting cube was built by the pre-prod team, which cast some beautiful lighting on the talent, as well as some shadows. But it also meant that a lot of work had to be done cleaning up the frame, bolts, chords etc. The cube’s neon lighting was enhanced in post, and the backgrounds were shot on different plates and comped in with a soft hue considered. Theatrical colour grades were done for all three images, each with a different tone yet belonging to a suite. Some great shots by Hugh by the way.
