We loved this idea as soon as we saw it and couldn’t wait to get to work. We joined Phil and Garth on set for the shoot and collectively we fine-tuned the rig suspending the talent above the ground to achieve the most natural look. We also worked with the stylist to tweak the garments to minimise retouching of too many awkward creases. Garth nailed the lighting and we soon had a stack of shots. We quickly narrowed these down and did some mock-ups that afternoon to make sure everything worked as intended. Back in the studio it was just a case of creating the bigger stretches of material and adding a treatment. Needless to say everyone involved was very happy with the result on this one - and all for a good cause too!
